đŸȘ«đŸ”‹ Energy drains vs energy radiators

Hi ,

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about where our energy actually goes...

Not in a productivity way. Not in a “do more” way...

But in a very human, nervous-system-aware way.

đŸȘ«Some things quietly drain us.

🔋Others gently radiate energy back into us.

And most of the time, we’re not doing anything “wrong” - we’re just surrounded by more drains than radiators 😬

Energy drains aren’t always obvious

When we hear “energy drain,” we often think of big things - toxic relationships, burnout, major life stress, or being pushed past our limits.

But more often, they’re subtle, like:

  • Constant mental looping
  • Rushing without pause
  • People-pleasing
  • Self-criticism
  • Clutter or overstimulation
  • Doomscrolling before bed
  • Ignoring our own needs
  • Holding emotions in because it doesn’t feel safe to express them

If that's relatable, it doesn't mean you’re failing.

They’re usually signs that your nervous system has been working very hard for a long time. And when a system has been working that hard, it doesn’t need pushing - it needs replenishing...

Resourcing & replenishing your energy radiators

So let’s gently explore what we mean by energy radiators...

They’re not about pushing or motivating yourself. They don’t hype us up or demand effort. They kinda warm us up slowly...gently...

Things like:

  • Gentle rest
  • Slow, conscious breathing
  • EFT tapping (of course đŸ„°)
  • Time in nature
  • Clear, kind boundaries
  • Moments of beauty or creativity
  • Being emotionally met
  • Supportive connection

These are the things that tell the body:

You’re safe now.

You don’t have to brace.

You can soften a little.

And when the nervous system feels safer, energy starts to return - naturally.

A gentle reflection for you

If you paused for a moment and asked your body:

👉 What’s been draining me lately?
👉 What quietly replenishes me?

You might be surprised by what comes up.

And remember, this isn’t about removing every drain overnight.

It’s about adding more radiators...adding them slowly, gently...in a way that feels right for you.

EFT as an energy radiator 💙

One of the reasons I love EFT tapping so much is that it acts like an internal radiator...

It doesn’t force change, or bypass what you’re feeling.

It meets your nervous system where it is - and helps it settle.

When we tap, we’re not trying to “fix” ourselves. We’re offering reassurance, self-kindness and safety.

And that kind of regulation doesn’t stop with us - it quietly ripples out into families, communities, and the wider world 🌏🙏✹

You don’t have to do this alone

Another powerful energy radiator? Supportive connection.

That’s why the Heart Circle Community exists.

It’s a calm, welcoming space where you can:

  • Talk about what’s draining you
  • Notice what replenishes you
  • Tap together
  • And be met with understanding - not advice or pressure

This week inside the Heart Circle, we’re exploring energy, boundaries, and support - and how to choose radiators more intentionally.

Plus, on the 10th Feb, I'm also hosting a live audio tapping session focused on:

✹ Crown Chakra activation for wisdom, clarity, and gentle guidance ✹

A beautiful practice for when you’re feeling depleted or unsure and want to reconnect with your inner knowing.

You’re welcome to join us inside!

(Choose the self-healer or practitioner tier to access the group tapping sessions, video and audio library, scripts, chat room and resources).

Before you go, remember:

When your system is warmed and supported, that warmth doesn’t stay contained đŸ”‹đŸŒžđŸ’«

With love,
