Special advance notice of our next concert:

Our little town of Te Awamutu, has many talented, creative people. Concerts Alive! Committee members were thrilled to hear our own Te Awamutu Brass Band won awards at the recent National Brass Band Competition, held in Wellington. Big congratulations to all the band members, including Sarah Carroll their conductor! It is very rewarding when those long hours of hard work, practice and patience are acknowledged and appreciated.

To help celebrate our ongoing enjoyment of music, including successful musical performances, we are pleased to tell you we are hosting Te Awamutu Brass Band in a concert of classical brass band pieces, along with 'toe-tapping favourites'.

When? Sunday, June 21st at 2pm

Where? St John's Anglican Church, Arawata Street, Te Awamutu

How much? Only $25! Cash on the door please (kids & students, free)

This enjoyable programme will be a special selection of family-favourites, with songs from movies, musicals and more. Familiar pieces will feature from Grease, the Swing era, Cats, James Bond, and also original classics from the brass band repertoire.

Afterwards, we will also hold a fund-raising raffle for the Band, in St John's Lounge. Please stay for the draw, enjoy a tea or coffee and chat with our talented musicians.
