Lately, I’ve been moving through a tender kind of grief. The kind that sneaks in quietly and doesn’t follow the usual rules.

I lost my beautiful dog not long ago. Charley was more than a pet. He was my companion, my comfort, my co-regulator, my joy. His loss has been deep, and it cracked something open in me.

As I sat with that heartbreak, I started thinking about all the ways grief shows up in our lives. It’s not just death that we grieve. We grieve relationships that didn’t turn out the way we hoped. We grieve the life we thought we’d have. We grieve the version of ourselves we had to let go of in order to survive.

So many women I work with are grieving. Not just the person they left, but the dream they tried so hard to hold together. And often, they don’t even realise it’s grief. They just feel broken, lost, or numb.

That reflection led me to write this week's blog post. It's about the powerful, often hidden, ways grief shows up, and how, if we let it, it can actually become the path to our freedom and authenticity.
