What if healing has nothing to do with narcissism?

Hello ,
Let’s talk about something that might surprise you:
Studying narcissism is not healing.
Yes, it can feel validating to finally understand what happened. To put a label on the chaos. To match their behaviour to a checklist and say, “Aha! That’s why.”
But at some point, that study becomes a cycle. A loop. And you get stuck there.
You start looking for answers in them, when healing is really about you.
To give you an idea of how ridiculous the types of narcissism have become, I have written a blog post with all the types and sub-types. It's eye-opening. And you can see how easy it is to get bogged down in research and definitions. Time that could be spent on you and your healing. Click HERE to read the post.
Here’s what opens up when you ditch the obsession with narcissism and focus on your own recovery:
- You get your power back. No more waiting for an apology or an awakening that’s never coming. You get to define closure on your terms.
- You rediscover who you are. Not the person you became to survive, please, or manage someone else’s emotions—but the you that was buried underneath it all.
- You stop trying to make sense of nonsense. That energy goes into building a life you love, instead of decoding someone else’s dysfunction.
- You start living in the present. Instead of rehashing what they did, you create new patterns, new dreams, and a future that's yours alone.
Healing isn’t found in understanding narcissism.
It’s found in understanding yourself.
