Dear friends,
Thanks for your patience with our plan-juggling. We're very excited to see you on the 26th for our seasonal festival of fried foods. If you have requests for things to roll in batter and throw in oil, now's the time to let us know! We're doing a lot of prep ahead of time so we can just have a good time on Friday.

The gist:
We'll be "at home to visitors" from 6:30 to 10 p.m. on Friday December 26. If you want to let us know you're coming, please do, or just show up! Since pretty much everything we're cooking this time is done à la minute, there's no need to tell us you're coming, though of course we would love to know to anticipate you.
Arrive at 6:30 for candle-lighting, and anytime after that for food. Kids of all ages are very welcome before 8:30, when Kit goes to bed. Quiet adult chill time continues until 10 or whenever we turf you out.

The boring details:
- Our apartment is up a steep flight of stairs, and has a cat in residence.
- Ash has scent allergies, so please don't wear strong perfume or cologne.
- We're more than happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions we can, but cross-contamination of allergens may happen in our kitchen. We never mind you bringing your own food if that's what's safest for you.
- If you'd like to bring someone who hasn't been directly invited, please check in advance.
- Please take a rapid test at least 12 hours before coming over. At least one member of our family will do likewise. We'll also have a high-quality air purifier running, and windows open if weather permits. If you'd prefer more stringent covid precautions, please let us know.
