Happy Monday! Here's the latest edition of SYAO Creativity. Let's see what's going on in our creative world this week!

STITCH (What I've been working on)

I was in Chicago last week for the wholesale yarn and quilt market. I didn't get a lot of knitting or quilting done there. But I had a good time. I went to a little talk that Kaffe Fassett gave. When I say "little," I mean it. There were only about 10 of us there. So after it, it was easy to get a picture.

He talked about how different colors make quilts look completely different. Nothing shocking to any of us, but still, a nice thing to see with samples. (I forgot to take photos of the samples, because .... I have no idea why. Just trust me that the same quilt in different colors looks different!)

Here I am after, with him! Note that he is cool toned and I am warm toned.

YOUR (What you've been working on)

Christina finished her kitty quilt top at the retreat. (We still have some of the kitty fabric left.) I love her choice of deep-purple batik sashing. It somehow tied everything together.

ART (Inspired by art or nature)

The tulips were at peak when I was in Chicago. They were delightful!

OUT (What's out on the shelves in the shop)
