Hi, Everyone!

Each year at this time, we all get bombarded with email about the holidays.

Given that this is an email about the holidays, Stitch Your Art Out is obviously kind of the same in that respect (haha!)--but we have some excellent plans going on that you won't find anywhere else!

So read the entire email to learn about all the adventures awaiting you in the store!

Pie Baking

First, I need to let you know that I have some serious pie baking to do this Wednesday (pecan, lemon meringue, pumpkin, and I'm thinking possibly a mixed-berry), so I'm leaving at noon. If you think you'll need to come in that day, sign up early! I'll be here before the online calendar starts, so if you need an early appointment, just call. I'll be closed on Thursday, of course.

Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday will have regular appointment hours, between 10 and 5.

Sales!

Okay, maybe other stores have sales, too. But at Stitch Your Art Out, there's no panicking about the sales that are all crammed into one day! Since I always work by appointment, I'll spread out the "small business Saturday" and "Black Friday" and "Cyber Monday" sales over a month. I'm going to have selected items on sale between today and Christmas.

During that time, every day will be a "small business" day. I'll probably vary what I do from week to week, depending on what's selling how my mood strikes me, so feel free to come in more than once. (Okay, always feel free to come in more than once!)

Raffle!

If you come into the store, you get a ticket for a gift basket (your choice of quilting or yarn) that are worth over $100 each. Come see them! For every $25 you spend, you get one more ticket to enter. You can put your tickets into either the yarn box or the fabric box, or all into one! The raffle will be chosen on December 21.

So set up a time, and come in to the store! Buy the good stuff and maybe win a prize! It'll be fun!

Chocolate!

There will be a square of Ghirardelli chocolate for you when you come in, all season long. So....

* Come in to a comfortable, relaxing, colorful place,

* grab a square of chocolate, and

* look at all the inspiration surrounding you!

Won't it be fun to come into a store just to browse and enjoy?

Packages!

I'm once again creating surprise holiday packages for your friends and families (or you!) to buy this year. They'll be different from last year, of course!

They can go to the website and purchase one, and then I'll either mail it or they can pick it up. I'll have everything ready, including gift-wrapping it in a box! I had so much fun doing that last year and am looking forward to it again. There were so many relieved-looking people leaving the store with their wrapped packages. I try to target each gift to its recipient if possible, so I'll usually need a day or two after ordering to put the package together.

Gift Certificates!

I also have gift certificates, as always! You can buy them either online or in person or over the phone.

Mystery Shawl Kits!

And as a final quick reminder, it's almost time for my Advent Mystery Shawl to start! Grab a cool kit (left) or a warm kit (right). I have just a few left, and while I can resupply them within a few weeks, I have no time to make more before December 1 at this point. If you want to make the shawl "in real time" as the clues come out, get your kit now!

We'll get started with daily clues beginning December 1. The shawl is worsted weight, and we'll do about 4-8 rows per day between December 1 and 21. (I figured you'd need time to catch up or block on the last few days.) I think you'll enjoy this easy, pretty project!

Gift-Along

Each year, designers on Ravelry band together for a special Giftalong. All the information is at this link. (It's extensive!) I'm participating as a designer, so be sure to look! Need yarn for a pattern you just bought, even from someone else? You know where to come!
