STITCH (What I've been working on)

I've finished the top for the block of the month! I love this quilt. I put just a thin border on it, and I was debating about lots of different fabrics. Almost anything Australian worked. I finally tossed a coin and called it a day.

Let me help you choose your border, when you're ready. We can audition lots of options! (I'm out of the one that's shown here.) If you've been making this quilt, you might want to save this email so you have a picture for when you put it together. I'll be putting kits on the website, soon, as well. (Note that I'm out of this particular border. If you would like it, let me know, and I'll order it in.)

Next, I need to finish it up!

I think I've designed the block of the month for 2023. More info later! It's different from anything we've ever done in this shop!

ART (Inspired by art or nature)

I think this was my favorite of artist Bruce Munro's exhibits at Longwood Gardens. It was a field of thousands of lights, in a wash of color. The camera can't do it justice, of course, but it gives you a taste. We were trying to figure out how long it would take just to set this thing up!
