SYAO Creativity, the week of November 7, 2022

Hello, everyone!
Here's the latest edition of SYAO Creativity. Let's see what's going on in our creative world!
STITCH (What I've been working on)
I was pleased with my second Andi's Halloween Adventure poncho! (If you like the pattern, you can get it at the link.) I made a second one to double check the pattern, and I'm glad I have a second poncho. I'm thinking I need to design more ponchos!
This pattern, like my other Andi Adventures, is not just a pattern--it's a story, where the motifs and stitch patterns were designed along with elements from that story. It's a lot of fun.
Almost everyone looks great in teal, but not everyone looks great in gold and orange, the way I do. I know that. Set up a time, and I'll fix you up with all your favorite colors, too. We can purple and pink it up!
Here's my buddy Misty in the original one that's more "Halloween colors."
YOUR (What you've been working on)
Sharon made a king-sized bedspread. The glorious colors!! I love how she separated them using white. And those little golden-orange squares--perfect. I love seeing almost all fabrics from the shop in it. That always feels like an honor.
ART (Inspired by art or nature)
This gigantic CD collection was part of an art exhibit I went to at Longwood Gardens a few weekends ago, by artist Bruce Munro. You'll be seeing more of his work over the next few newsletters!
OUT (What's out on the shelves in the shop)
These are new fabrics from Ruby Star Society. I admit that I went a little crazy on this order. I love the colors in this collection! Teal, green, and magenta are great together. (See, you could make an Andi's poncho in these colors!)
As always, make an appointment to shop or browse, or just to show off your stuff! I can't wait to see you!
