STITCH (What I've been working on)

We have a beautiful little baby sweater model hanging in the shop. It was one of those situations (you've been there with yarn or fabric), that about a month after the model was done, the company discontinued the yarn. The other day, Susan was in, admiring the sweater and wanting that color of yarn. I told her I'd see what I could do. I mixed three shades of purple and pink, and voila! It took one try, and I was pretty proud of myself for this one. I can't guarantee a match that's this good, but I can give it a try for you if you have something specific you need. I do pretty well! Color is my jam!

YOUR (What you've been working on)

I love Rachel's shawl! It looks like a pleasant knit, too. She used Malabrigo Rios. Choose your favorite four colors! The pattern is Day at the Sea, by Lisa Haines. I can get it for you via Ravelry. When you buy patterns through me, it really helps! Just give me a call, and I can buy it and charge your card. It'll appear in your Ravelry library. Thanks for supporting both the designer and the shop!

ART (Inspired by art or nature)

I was in Pittsburgh recently, at Schenley Park. There is the most adorable carousel there. I had to show you a few of the animals you can ride! (I'll show you another one next week.) They were so beautiful.

OUT (What's out on the shelves in the shop)

Just in, from Ancient Arts! A DK-weight combination of merino and nettle. It sounds harsh, but it's the softest yarn ever! Seriously, you have to feel it to believe it.
