Happy New Year's Eve!

I hope you had a great holiday season. We've been enjoying some time off to hang out with our baby, and we're enjoying every minute of it.

I also got a lot of writing done! I am excited to announce that the Well of Shadows (the final Shadow Watch book) is complete. The first draft clocked in at 111,040 words.

There is a lot of work to do the next couple months before it goes to the editor in the middle of March. But the story is done. All of that will be expansion and fine-tuning.

I finished on Dec. 23 and am already plugging away at the first round of revisions (about 20% done), and am feeling really great about how the series ends. All I can say is that it is a roller-coaster ride filled with many unexpected turns (even some for me too). And I can't wait for you all to read it.

I've decided to stick with my original pre-order date, for a May 15 release. That will mark the Three Year anniversary of the series, and somehow, that just felt like the right way to end.

A full cover reveal is coming next month, but here is a sneak preview for now...
