How would you rate the strength of your Focus Muscle? #Productivity #Marketing #Entrepreneur #Growth #Entrepreneurship #Simplify #EffectiveEntrepreneur #Resilience #BeUnstoppable
I still remember the first time I read that sentence and the impact it had. It was liberating, motivating, and energizing all at once. It felt like one of those simple facts of life that the more we think about it, the deeper we understand its power. When we focus on progress, we focus on what we CAN do, which is in OUR control. But when we focus on perfection, we focus on an impossible ideal that is NOT in our control. We can influence it, and that's about all we can do. By focusing on progress, we deal with the present self and the feeling of this moment. When we focus on perfection, it is about how we hope to feel in the future. That future never comes because as we move ahead in time, the future is also moving forward. It becomes a game of chasing the horizon. Focusing on perfection is focusing on results and only results. Focusing just on the results is like feeding an always-hungry monster. On the other hand, focusing on progress helps us forget about difficulties and get to work on what is in us and not everything it might mean. Focusing on progress is inspiring because it is something you control. Focusing on progress helps with relying on evidence of how far you have come. The history of every time you won against procrastination. Even if you are behind, your current reality is still based on your previous accomplishments, not gambling on hope. It can free you from the intimidation of how far is left. #Implementation #Productivity #Entrepreneur #Marketing #Simplify #Growth #Resilience #BeUnstoppable P.S. I'm starting a group coaching program all about IMPLEMENTATION in a couple of weeks. Specifically, how to simplify making progress without complex project management. If you are interested, leave a comment or PM, and I'll get back to you to see if this right for you.
so ... I noticed the countdown clock on my website is now down to exactly 100 days till my book's release date! err ... wow ... eeeek! this experience has been a combination of joy + fear, shame + honor, and push + pull! A rollercoaster of a ride! in the past few months, I have had many visits from some of our old friends imposter syndrome, procrastination, perfectionism, doubt, overwhelm ... you know ... the usual suspects. And I am still here Still taking my steps Still showing up Still trusting the process Still doing the work No matter how small each step is No matter what shows up No matter what doubts may surface Because it is now or never! The whole thing would not have been possible without the great amount of support I was lucky to receive from people around me or total strangers. I will make another post about the lessons learned so far and the valuable advice I have received. Today, all I want to say is: I am grateful. P.S. I am going to share some of the content and concepts with some people. like an early access readers group. PM me if you like to join us.

Each one on its own may harm your business more than help. Thoughts?
Stick with what is in front of you and not everything it might mean.
