But your product isn’t the story.

And your product is the rope you throw down to help them climb out.
Let’s recap the first two sound bites:

“We know how you feel.”
Now comes the third:

That’s the rope.
But here’s the key.
If you hand someone a rope on the street, they might say thanks and forget about it.
If they’re in a hole, that same rope becomes priceless.
So stop pitching your product like it’s for anyone.
Make it the clear answer to a very specific problem.
That’s when people say,
“That’s exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
