1-2-3: On Clarity
1 Idea
- Effectiveness is about doing the RIGHT things.
To do the right things, first, we need the ability to identify and recognize them.
To do the right things, we need to understand their importance and impact potential.
To do the right things, we need to see them clearly so we can be decisive about our commitment to action.
2 Questions
- Do you have the kind of clarity that creates smooth and unstoppable progress every step of the way?
- How the result we create will be different with or without clarity?
3 Actions
- The 5 Why Techniques is one of the better methods for getting clarity. It is a practical and straightforward approach for finding the root cause of a problem by asking "why?" 5 times. This fun 3-minute video shows a real-life example.
- Quick clarity exercise: On a piece of paper, write THREE answers for each one of these topics when it comes to your life or business: some things you want to Add, some things you want to Drop, some things you want to Keep, some things you want More of, and some things you want Less. Congratulations, you identified 15 ways to improve your life or business.
- From each group, pick ONE that you will work on in the next 30-90 days and run the 5 Why technique on them. Keep the rest of the ideas to come back to after you have made significant improvements on the first five.
What types of similar resources or tools allowed you to do gain clarity? I want to know. Hit reply and tell me about them.
