Eventually, I found the answer.

It came down to one thing:

Vantage point.

I was always too close to what I was working on.

Looking at it from inside the frame.

Seeing it only through my eyes, with my assumptions, and my mental filters.

That’s when I finally understood the phrase:

“You can’t read the label from inside the bottle.”

It’s not about intelligence or discipline or how strong your frameworks are.

It’s about being human.

And humans have blind spots.

I used to hear Tony Robbins say,

“I don’t care who you are. EVERYBODY needs a coach.”

Honestly, I didn’t agree.

At the time, it sounded self-serving, like a clever pitch to sell more programs.

But now? I agree.

Not because I can’t figure things out on my own.

But because I can’t always see what’s in my own way.

That’s what coaching, masterminds, and honest brainstorming sessions give me.

A clearer view. A shifted lens. A fresh vantage point.

They help me see what I can’t see by myself.

They help me do, for me, what I so easily do for others.

Not as a weakness.

But as a way to honor my humanity.

Because no system, no matter how well-designed, can replace the power of a second set of eyes.

And no one gets a free pass on being human.
