🟩 Why I Do Things This Way

Nov 17, 2025 2:31 pm

Hi ,

Over the past few days, I’ve been writing to you about trust.

Not the kind we ask for, but the kind we quietly earn.

Not the loud kind, but the one built through presence, patience, and pattern.

We’ve looked at what it’s like to be trusted before you feel ready,

what happens when you’re not trusted at all,

and how misplaced trust, whether in others or in yourself, can cut deep.

If you missed any of those, or you’d like to revisit them,

you can find the full series here.

Now, I want to close the loop by sharing why this all matters to me.

Why it shows up in the way I teach, the way I build programs, and the way I work with people.

I’ve never been someone who builds trust in big, flashy gestures.

It doesn’t happen in a single conversation or from a well-crafted pitch.

For me, trust is something that forms slowly.

Bit by bit.

Over time.

Through rhythm.

Through repetition.

Through showing up in the same way again and again.

That’s why I structure my work the way I do.

That’s why my programs, my writing, even the way I connect with clients all follow the same quiet logic.

To say what I wish someone had said to me.

To offer what I wish I had received.

To be the kind of steady presence I often needed and rarely found.

That’s why I don’t try to persuade people.

I invite them.

I ask good questions.

I make space for honest thought.

And I return, over and over again, to the heart of the work.

Because real trust is not built in one moment.

It is built in many.

And that’s exactly the foundation behind The Trusted Expert Growth Lab.

If you’ve been following along with this series, and something in you recognizes the kind of slow, real, grounded trust I’m talking about, then this might be for you.

It’s not loud.

It’s not pushy.

It’s built for people who care more about doing the work than performing it.

If you're curious about how it works or whether it’s a fit for you, just reply and we can talk.

No pressure.

Just a conversation.

(P.S. Thanks for reading this far. Writing about trust hasn’t been easy for me, but it felt necessary. And now, it’s written. It’s out. And that feels like enough.)
