But what does that really mean?

And why does it matter so much?


Because here’s the biggest mistake I see people make:


They focus on being efficient — before they make sure they’re being effective.


In other words:

They work on doing things faster, cheaper, or at scale…

…without checking whether those things are even worth doing.


Effectiveness means doing the right things.

Efficiency means doing things right.


Let me give you an example.


A lot of people throw money at lead generation — they hire agencies, run ads, and drive traffic…


But they haven’t nailed their offer.

Their message is unclear.

They don’t know how to convert the leads they’re paying for.


So they scale a system that isn’t ready.


The result?

More traffic, more leads, more spend — but little to no growth.


On the flip side…


Even with a smaller budget, if your offer is strong and your message is clear,

you can attract better clients, generate better revenue, and build a business that actually grows.


Bottom line:


If you skip effectiveness and rush to efficiency,

you just end up doing the wrong things faster.


Don’t do that.


Start with what’s right.


Then make it faster, smoother, and more scalable.


Because a prolific business - a productive business - isn’t about doing more.


It’s about doing the right things right.
