🟩 The compliment that flipped the switch

Hi ,

A few years ago, someone sent me a message after visiting my site.


They said:

“I’ve followed you for months, but this is the first time I really understood what you do.
Now I get why people hire you.”


They meant it as a compliment.

And it was.


But part of me cringed.


Because it made me realize: for all that time, they’d been watching, reading, maybe even interested…

without ever feeling clear enough to take action.



This is the hidden cost of fuzzy messaging.

They say things like,

You don’t have to yell louder.
