I tried the loud version first.

The “HEY EVERYONE LOOK AT ME” content.

The punchy hooks.

The “hot take” posts that made me cringe as I hit publish.

It felt fake.

I’m an introvert.

Not shy—just… selective.

And like most introverts: Precise.

A thinker.

But every marketing “expert” said the same thing:

Be everywhere.

Be bold.

Be loud.

So I burned out trying to be someone else.

I figured maybe I just wasn’t cut out for self-promotion.

But then I did something different.

I invested in actually learning how to write.

How to tell stories.

How to translate what I knew into something other people could feel.

Not in a flashy way.

But in a real, grounded, human way.

I stopped mimicking hype.

And started writing in my actual voice.

Not daily at the beginning.

Just when I had something worth saying.

I didn’t chase views— I aimed for resonance.

And slowly, leads started coming in.

Not hype-driven tire kickers—real ones.

Because here’s what I’ve realized:

Introverts make incredible marketers.

We don’t waste words.

We listen first.

We say things that land.

You don’t need to become someone louder.

You just need to trust that your voice, your pace, and your perspective are more powerful than you’ve been told.

You’re not bad at marketing.

You’re just not meant to do it like them.
