đźź© This has nothing to do with being lazy

Hi ,

Over the past 8 emails, I shared some ways to stand out and get ahead of your competition.

That was supposed to be it.

But between the replies I received and a few ideas that hit me afterward, I realized—we’re not done yet.

So, I’m adding a few more to the mix.

Short, sharp, and worth your time.

Here’s one to kick things off:

If your clients drag their feet, flake out, or disappear mid-process…

it’s not because they’re lazy.

It’s because the process takes too much effort.

Effort = friction.

And friction kills momentum.

If something feels like a chore—even if it’s valuable—people avoid it.

They procrastinate. They stop replying. They move on to whatever feels easier.

So what’s your job?

Remove effort wherever you can.

Ask yourself:

  • What steps feel unnecessary from their point of view?
  • Are they repeating the same info on every call?
  • Do they have to follow up with you just to stay on track?
  • Is anything unclear, awkward, or overly manual?

Clients shouldn’t have to carry the ball to get results.

Make it easy for them to win—and they’ll keep coming back.

Next email, we’ll talk about handoffs—and why passing clients between people (or roles) is often the friction point nobody talks about.

Relentlessly dedicated to your profitability,
