Hi ,

There’s a hidden saboteur in your workspace.

It doesn’t yell.

It doesn’t beep.

It doesn’t pop up as a notification.

It’s the temperature.

If your environment is even slightly too warm, your energy starts to sag.

Not enough to notice right away.

But over the course of the day?

That low-grade drain adds up.

And most people don’t realize the slow fatigue they feel isn’t from work…

It’s from sweating their way through it.

The sweet spot for focused work is usually on the cooler side—

Not freezing, not uncomfortable, just crisp enough to keep your brain alert and your body calm.

Cooler temps are tied to better concentration, faster reaction times, and higher-quality output.

Warmth, on the other hand, makes us sluggish and more prone to distraction.

You don’t need a smart thermostat or an expensive AC unit.

Start small:

  • Crack a window.
  • Use a small fan.
  • Switch rooms if another one runs cooler.

You’d be surprised how much sharper your mind feels when the air around you doesn’t lull it to sleep.

Action Step:

During your next work block, notice how your body feels.

Are you slightly overheated? A little too bundled up?

Try adjusting the temperature (or your clothing) just slightly.

Then observe: How does your focus shift? How does your energy feel 90 minutes later?

This is one of the simplest “upgrades” you can make—

But it has a big payoff, every single day.

Relentlessly dedicated to your profitability,
