đźź© The sneaky benefit of being overwhelmed
Jul 07, 2025 4:26 pm
Hi ,
Things have been getting busier and busier in my world.
Several projects are moving into new phases at the same time.
Demands are stacking up. My schedule’s feeling tighter.
And that familiar twinge of “I’m behind” is creeping in.
It’s not panic—just pressure.
The kind that doesn’t go away overnight.
So I did what I always do when things start to blur—I sat down to get organized.
Prioritize. Sort. Breathe.
And in doing that, something jumped out at me.
Not all the projects feel equally overwhelming.
Some feel heavy and chaotic. Others feel manageable—even a little exciting.
And I realized: the difference isn’t the workload.
It’s the groundwork.
The projects that are in better shape are the ones I prepared for.
The ones I thought through. Set up. Sketched out. Broke into steps.
They’re holding their shape under pressure.
The rest? Not so much.
Overwhelm has a way of revealing the truth.
It shows you what you’ve built a foundation for—and what you’ve been winging.
It’s a useful filter, really.
So this is less of a lesson and more of a reminder.
Preparation pays off.
Procrastination leaves a mess.
And in times like these, that difference becomes crystal clear.
