Hi ,
Last time, I shared how I almost missed my brand completely.
I was chasing clever.
I thought Simplify was too short… too plain… not “brand-y” enough.
But once I saw it clearly — and stopped resisting it — the next step was obvious:
Make it repeatable.
I didn’t want a name or idea that needed explaining.
I wanted something clients could instantly understand — and easily share.
So I built everything around it.
The first move?
I wrote my mission:
“To make it simpler.”
Four words. Infinite applications.
Whether we’re talking marketing, sales, delegation, planning, or execution — that line guides it all.
Then came the domain:
First Simplify.zone, focused on personal performance and productivity.
Later, as my work shifted more toward business growth and profitability, I claimed SimplifyProfits.com.
Because making money should be simple, too.
Then I claimed a title:
Simplifier.
Not strategist. Not consultant. Not coach.
Just one word that tells you exactly what I’m here to do.
But here’s the most important part:
I didn’t just make my message simple.
I made it a tool — a filter — for everything I create.
At the end of every task or project, I ask one question:
“Did I (or you) make it simpler?”
That question has become part of how I lead.
It’s how I train my team.
It’s how I shape offers, build tools, and give feedback.
Before anything goes out the door — a doc, a system, an email — that question gets asked.
Why?
Because specialists and technologists (myself included) love adding features.
More options. More functionality. More everything.
But more isn’t always better.
Sometimes, more is just… more.
And if we’re not careful, we end up with complexity.
Things might get done — but not done well.
So now, the bar is simple:
Not just: Did we finish it?
But: Did we make it simpler?
That’s how a brand becomes more than a tagline.
It becomes a compass.
