🟩 You’re not supposed to do this alone

Hi ,

Sometimes I work with clients who feel embarrassed that they need help.


They say things like:


  • “I should be able to explain what I do by now.”
  • “I’ve been doing this for years, I don’t know why this is so hard.”
  • “I help other people with this kind of stuff — why can’t I help myself?”


I get it.

I’ve said those same things to myself.


But here’s the truth:


You’re not supposed to be able to see it clearly from the inside.


You’re too close to it.

Too deep in the work.

Too familiar with the backstory, the nuance, the evolution.


It’s like trying to write a headline while sitting inside the product.

You can’t see what your prospects are seeing — because you’re not them.



This isn’t a flaw.

It’s part of being human.


Even I get outside help when it’s time to tighten up my message.


Because sometimes the thing we need most isn’t more thinking.

It’s reflection.

It’s perspective.

It’s someone else asking the questions we’ve been too close to ask ourselves.



If your message isn’t landing, that doesn’t mean you’re bad at what you do.


It just means your current version was built from the inside out.
