What I realized over coffee this morning

Hi ,
I was thinking about this as I took my first sip of coffee this morning.
Last week, I had an idea: to create a free email course.
I had two goals:
- Make it useful for lead generation and nurturing
- Make it actually helpful — something that gets people started clarifying their message, standing out, and building better business connections
So I got to work.
What should it look like?
How does it work?
What should it say?
After a few focused days, I had the content, the promo assets, and a schedule.
It’s not perfect. But it’s version 1 — and I’m proud of it.
Then came the question of how to launch it.
Now, I’ve done the whole complex-setup, pages-and-graphics route before.
This time, I wanted simple. No fluff.
So I built all the public pages in Notion.
Clean. Fast. Done.
The emails? I used a minimal, no-nonsense email tool.
Just the essentials. Easy to work with. Reliable.
Suddenly, what usually takes days and hours… took hours and minutes.
A few more sips of coffee.
I realized this one felt different.
Not just because of the tools — but because of the clarity.
It all came down to 3 simple steps:
Ideation. Creation. Publication.
That’s it.
Three stages. Three questions:
What is it about? → The purpose or goal (Ideation)
What should be in there? → The content (Creation)
What will it look like? → The delivery method (Publication)
You can use these for your next project.
Or even just to plan your day.
So here’s my question for you:
What are you working on right now?
What are your 3 answers?
Hit reply and let me know, I always want to know — I read every response, and if something comes to mind, I’ll send feedback your way.
Oh — and if you missed it in yesterday’s email, here’s the project I was talking about:
👉 The 7-Day Client Conversation Fix
And the fact that a bunch of people joined and are getting the daily lessons makes me happy and tells me I am on a good track.
