🟩 I followed up three times. Nothing.

Hi ,

I had a great conversation with a potential client.

Good energy. Clear alignment. Real interest on both sides.

I sent a follow-up the next day.

Nothing.

A week later, I sent another. Still nothing.

I waited. Then sent a third.

Silence.

And that’s when the doubt crept in.

Did I do something wrong? Was I too eager? Not compelling enough?

But the truth is often simpler and more frustrating:

They just forgot me.

Not because they didn’t care. Not because I wasn’t qualified.

But because I didn’t leave a lasting impression.

I was just one of many conversations that week.

One more name in an overcrowded inbox.

That’s when I realized that following up doesn’t work unless people remember why you matter in the first place.

If your first impression fades fast, your follow-up becomes noise.

Being memorable isn’t about being slick. It’s about being intentional.

About anchoring your value in their mind, so when you do follow up, there’s a reason to respond.

The best follow-up strategy is a strong first impression.

And that’s something most solos never get taught.

Relentlessly dedicated to your profitability,
