The fastest way for people to forget you

Hi ,


I go to a lot of networking events.

I meet a lot of business owners.


And I really want to help them.

But man, they don’t make it easy.


They do one of two things:


1- They talk too much.

They flood me with information.

They list every service, every certification, their entire life story.

It’s overwhelming, and it’s all about them.


2- They say too little.

They drop a job title and expect me to be impressed.

They think “I’m a consultant” or “I do marketing” is enough for me to remember them.


Spoiler: It’s not.


Here’s the truth:

People are only interested in things that benefit them.


That’s human nature.


So if you introduce yourself with a title or a laundry list of services, you’re making it harder for people to connect with you.

1- Tell me what problem you solve.

2- Tell me who has this problem.

3- Then stop talking.


That’s it.

No monologue.

No fluff.


I want to genuinely understand what you do.
