Here is an update from WOL Poland Director Tim Good about what happened at our property yesterday. Please read and pray for us.

EARLY MORNING TODAY --- MAJOR WATER LINE BURSTS IN OUR YOUTH CENTER!
DINING ROOM, KITCHEN & BASEMENT FLOODED!
EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO SOUND EQUIPMENT / PROJECTOR / CELING TILES / WALLS / ELECTRIC PANELS / INTERNET SERVER!
At this point, we don’t know the total extent of the damage and are hoping that some things will dry out and be okay, but only time will tell. I am so thankful for all of our staff and some church youth who came together to help! What a wonderful bonding time as we swept out the water and tried to straighten up and salvage what we can.
We have contacted our insurance agent and someone will come out on Jan. 3 to evaluate it all. We have taken pictures to show them and we trust that they will cover most expenses, but it appears that we will not have enough insurance on all of our electrical and sound equipment. At this point, two electric panels and we don’t know about lights and other things. And the problem is that we cannot wait for insurance money to fix these things. English4Life Winter semester starts on January 9th and we need to be up and running.
Please pray for us that God will work in miraculous ways to provide all needed to get this done in time!

Personally, my heart dropped when I walked into the building this morning! I could not believe my eyes. About a third of the ceiling tiles were on the floor, there was a waterfall coming from the ceiling and 3 inches of water covering the entire Dining Room! I rushed to the basement and shut off the main water line and the waterfall still continued for about another half hour!
Why did God allow this? Satan once again is attacking, and we don’t want to allow him to have the victory. We can’t understand, but we are still confident that HE IS GOOD! We are thankful that we are all still healthy despite the fact that every month we travel many miles in our cars and that there are many illnesses and diseases out there. We are happy to serve the Lord and we plan to continue doing all that He shows us. This is a great set back, but with God’s help, we will live in victory!
We covet your prayers as we wade through the details of paperwork with the insurance company, finding a company to dry the place out and do repairs as well as get English4Life ready and stay involved in getting out to youth groups as well.
