God Can Do Anything - Heydingers in Poland

Dear ,

How much faith do you have in God? As a Christian, I would say that I believe that God can do ANYTHING, but in my day-to-day living, doubts can creep in and I wonder if God can meet the needs that I have. As a ministry, we plan many different events: camps, conferences, English4Life, and more. We spend a lot of time planning and preparing for these events, but sometimes we have no idea how we can get people to come to the events that we have planned.

One such time happened earlier this Fall. There are three wonderful ladies who came to help with English4Life and on the way back from the airport they asked me how many students were coming. A few days before, I had written them that a girl had just signed up and we had five students, but in the meantime, some things had changed and she was not able to come. So, I had to tell the teachers that we had four confirmed students, but we were trying to get more. I am not sure what they felt, but at that point I was wondering if we would get more and how we would get them. We had already talked to all the people we could think of and still we only had four students.

The teachers arrived on Monday and we started our term on the following Sunday. We had a rollercoaster week, hearing that someone wanted to come and then that they could not, but then someone else was interested. In the end, here are the students and staff that we have this term:

In this picture, we have nine students (and there is another who was not there for the picture). So, to God's glory, we ended up having TEN STUDENTS this term! Praise the Lord!

We end our term on November 19, so we still have a few weeks left to impact these students. Would you pray for our students to learn more English these next weeks? Would you pray for our teachers to be clear and creative in their lessons? Would you pray that the time they have in the Bible (Quiet Time, Family Time, Discipleship, and Chapel) would make a lifetime impact in their lives?

Here are the names of everyone so you can pray more specifically:

Thank you for taking the time to read about what God is doing in Poland! We really could not have this ministry without people who pray and support us. There are two ways that you can help us continue to serve with English4Life in Poland.

First, you can support a student. There are people that generously gave so that we could offer students to come at no cost, but then, by faith, we took more students than we had scholarships for. Would you pray about investing in the lives of these young people through giving financially?

The second way is to be a part of our family's financial support team. Many people have faithfully supported us over the years and we are so very thankful for that. Currently, we are at 85% of our monthly support goal. Would you pray about if God will use you to help us get to 100%?

, I hope that you have been encouraged to hear what God is doing in Poland. We have been reminded that God can do ANYTHING, even when we do not know how He will do it.
