I’m still working on the audio recording of Out of the Ashes but I’m discovering that in spite of all the soundproofing, the microphone still picks up all sorts of unwanted noise. Torrential rain is very loud on the roof, the dog’s claws on the floorboards go click, click, click, and cockatoos like to squawk in numbers in the garden (#australianproblems). I’m getting there, but it’s slow progress! I’ll keep you posted.
