As we settle into chilly autumn here in Australia, I’m sure most of you are enjoying the longer days and warmth of spring. One of the things I miss most about England is the transition of the seasons – it happens here of course, but it isn’t so dramatic. Most of the trees are green all year round so the changes are more subtle. I can still recall a visit home late in March a few years ago – when I arrived the trees were still winter bare but by the time I left three weeks later, everything was vibrant green. Gorgeous!

Between the cold and the continuing rain here in Sydney, I’ve managed to put the e-book of Out of the Ashes up for pre-order. You can check it out here: https://books2read.com/u/ba6dOy. I hope you like the cover as much as I do.

The book goes on sale on August 4, which is very exciting! It will also be available in paperback, but I haven’t quite got that organised yet! I’ll keep you posted.
