I'll just cut to the chase... Yesterday was not a good day.

You probably know that I am part of an incredible charity anthology Sunflower Season. All proceeds from this book will go to humanitarian relief in Ukraine. I contributed a lovely, steamy, wartime love story "Forget-Me-Not."

Over 70 amazing historical romance authors donated their stories, some exclusive, never-seen before, others are previously published, and some are new and improved!

We worked hard to spread the word far and wide, collected over 4000 pre-orders... and then Amazon canceled the book.

Pre-orders were lost, the link wasn't working anymore... in short, yesterday was a fiasco!

So, if you ordered Sunflower Season anthology on amazon, please, check your order. You likely didn't receive it. But good news is, you haven't been charged either. So you can re-order the book!

If you bought the book on any other retailer you should have received it yesterday! Please, read the stories, and let me know what you think!

Why is this important to me.

I was born and raised in a post soviet country. I have friends in Ukraine... I love them all and all I want is peace for the people who are unwillingly involved in this horrible situation.

I want to help, but I feel helpless... and even useless. This little contribution is a way of doing something, even if it's nothing huge. These people are close to my heart and I wish I could do more.

Here're two charities we will be donating money to:

1. Sunflower Peace to provide medical and humanitarian aid that will be used by the paramedics and doctors in the areas that are affected by the violence in Ukraine.
2. CARE: Immediate aid including food, water, hygiene kits, support services and direct cash assistance, prioritizing women and girls, families and the elderly.
