I need your help

I hope the sun is shining and the weather is perfect where you are, the perfect sky over your heads with no threat of war.
Speaking of... I need your help.
I do not talk about causes often, but everyone's heard about the situation in Ukraine at the moment. It is devastating what people are suffering through. And when authors see a cause we want to support, when we see people we want to help, we do the one thing we how... we write.
In this case over 70 Historical Romance authors came together and created an amazing anthology to benefit the people of Ukraine. ALL royalties will be donated to humanitarian relief in Ukraine where the focus will be on sending medical resources and basic necessities to women, children, and the elderly.
This set will be released on June 7, 2022 and will only be available for a limited time.
Some stories in the set will be old favorites. My contribution is the story you might have read before. It's the Forget-Me-Not novelette. But some of those stories are newsletter specials (like mine), some of them never published before, and most are newly written specials for this anthology. Anyway, with over 70 stories, I can guarantee you haven't read the majority of them. And the price is only $7.99!

Why book, why not a simple plea for donations.
The answer to this is rather simple: Simplicity, visibility and gratitude.
Simplicity.
Everyone is crying out for donations, and it can get lost in the noise. Where should one donate? How? It is simpler when people you trust, whose work you read and love vet the organizations for you, collect the money and make a grand contribution on behalf of romance book lovers all over the world.
Visibility
When over 70 authors use their platform to shout about the same thing at once it gets noticed. When their readers share and support and join in the screaming it gets noticed even more. When readers buy the book it moves up in the charts and gets noticed by other readers who otherwise wouldn't have known how to contribute. The more people shout, post, share, and finally, buy the anthology the more other people will get notice of this. And the more people do, the more we get to raise for the cause!
Gratitude
The book is also a thank you to readers who are supporting our initiative.
Why is this important to me.
I was born and raised in a post soviet country. I have friends in Ukraine... I love them all and all I want is peace for the people who are unwillingly involved in this horrible situation.
I want to help, but I feel helpless... and even useless. This little contribution is a way of doing something, even if it's nothing huge. These people are close to my heart and I wish I could do more.
I already read your novelette for free, why do I need to buy an anthology?
If you're only interested in my novelette, then perhaps there's no reason other than to support the cause (what better reason could there be?) But this anthology will have over 70 stories from beloved historical romance authors! Some new, and some existing, unpublished works.
I am not a speedy author and was not able to create anything new for this anthology. But I believe Forget-Me-Not is the perfect story for the set because it is a story of war and how it breaks people. But it is also a story of love and how it heals people. And it is a story of strength during difficult times.
I hope you give my story and this anthology a chance.
