Name a Rogue or two

Happy February!
Have you ever wondered about the writing process of your favorite authors? Well, if you were ever interested in my writing habits buckle up, or get a cup of tea, because I am about to spill some secrets.
I am currently working on a few projects at the same time. I am always working on a few projects at a time, because I get easily bored and I need a distraction. And what is a better distraction than another book?
So, sometimes I have 2 books I am working on at the same time, sometimes six. And by "working on" I mean either actually writing a few books at the same time, or writing one, writing down plot ideas for another one, thinking up scenes and tie-ins for another one.
I also write out of order. So sometimes I have a scene that happens closer to the end of the book, but I don't know how my characters get there yet. And then I put it all together like a puzzle.
It is really a fun way to write because even I don't know how my characters are going to get from point A to point B and I am surprised by how it all ties together.
There are, of course, things that I plan out way in advance. Especially in the Shadows series, because it is so connected. And that is why it is even more prudent I think a few books ahead for that series.
So, what am I currently working on?
Well, I am writing Seducing Her Wicked Rogue (of course), book 6 of the Shadows series. I am plotting out books 7 and 8 of that series. And writing book 9 of that series, because those characters live rent-free in my head.
I am also jotting down ideas for A Wager with the Gentleman, book 6 of the Necessary Arrangements series.
AND I am writing a new series! And this last one is where I need your help.
So, I have no trouble coming up with intricate plots, and character issues and anything else. The most trouble I have is with naming my characters!
Many of my characters go through many name iterations before the book gets published. And the new series are the most challenging. Because there is a slew of new characters needing names.
Please, save me from this huge issue and name my characters.
I have a group of rake/rogues/reprobates who are aptly named The Lords of Chaos. Some of them need titles as well. I have earls, marquesses, viscounts, dukes and barons. There are lots of characters that need to be named.
If I pick your name I will credit you in the acknowledgment section of my book, and will send you a paperback or ebook (your choice) of that hero's book.
You can send as many names, titles, ideas as you like.
Looking forward to hearing (reading) from you!
On to other things...
If you love audiobooks...
I am super excited that book 3 in my Necessary Arrangements series is out on audio! You can get it on audible now.
Excerpt:
"You heard that I said that I don't love you, right?"
Oh, my poor, clueless husband. Evie tried unsuccessfully to suppress a grin. "I know."
Book 4 is in the works, and will probably come on audible in March! Stay tuned.
And don't forget to pre-order book 6 of The Shadows series.
A grieving widow, but never a wife…
Mrs. Helen St. John was deeply in love with her first husband, and so was he. At least that's what she thought before he died. Now she lives with her cousins by marriage and gets a glimpse of what love and passion are truly like. Determined to find passion in life for herself she asks the most notorious rogue to teach her lessons in seduction. Little does she know that she has invited a serpent into the nest.
A drunkard, a wastrel and a scoundrel…
Ian McAllistair has always had to prove himself to his family and the rest of the world. He hoped entering into his majesty’s service would do just that. But everything goes wrong when the group of religious missionaries raids the brothel while Ian is on assignment and catches him in the most unsavory position. In one brief moment, he becomes the most popular man in England.
Having failed so spectacularly, the only way to earn back his King’s trust is to uncover the secret society that has been working in the shadows for years. Luckily, a beautiful, young widow asks for lessons in seduction, giving him access to the house of a suspected villain.
When a spark ignites between two lovers, Ian has a tough choice to face. But if his secrets won’t ruin their relationship, her secret just might.
I hope you're having a great week!
As usual I have some recommendations from my friends.
If he’s lucky, perhaps he can convince her to be wicked with him just once. Or maybe even forever…
Daphne Raven is happy with her prospective betrothed. He’ll be the perfect husband—meek, mild, and unlikely to stir any emotional chaos within her. But when she travels to London for her wedding attire, all it takes is one night at a ball (and a passionate case of mistaken identity) to shatter her faultless plans and make her question everything…
The last thing Corey Jefferson, Duke Renford, wants is a wife. A mistress will suit him—and the scars of his past—just fine. He thought the stunning mystery woman he kissed at the ball would be his ideal paramour. Until he discovered who she really was…and realized she could never be his. No matter how much he wished things were different for them…
When all is said and done, are the wicked rake and the innocent wallflower destined for happily ever after—or a lifetime of heartache?
Journey Beaumont knows the importance of her name and her lineage. Journey Beaumont has always understood the importance of controlling her freedom. Her Jamaican mother impressed upon her the importance of staying strong and knowing herself. When her father’s greedy business partner feels cheated out of his inheritance and decides to gain access to it by coercing her to marriage, her only choice is to hide. With only one hundred and forty-two days to her twenty-first birthday and her full inheritance, keeping her identity a secret should be easy if it weren’t for the charms of her new handsome employer.
Archibald Huxley, The Marquess of Aberdeen, had given up fighting after losing his wife. Vowing to never allow a cause to consume him again, he focuses all his love and attention on his only child. Hiring a governess to care for his daughter was the only sensible solution. However, he was not suspecting to find one as beautiful and charming as Journey Beaumont. He wanted to uncover all her secrets. What he did not expect was her to light a fire in him, awakening a long-buried need for justice. Will they allow their secrets to tear them apart or will they discover them one scandalous kiss at a time?
