How to Handle Tough Times

Welcome to the Stress Less and Get More Done Newsletter !

Each week I send you a video and blog post on a similar topic that will help you stress less and get more done. Always open to suggestions, I reply to every email, don't be a stranger.

This Weeks Topic: When Things Get Tough

The past few weeks have been tough on a lot of people. Hundreds of thousands have lost their livelihoods and many of us have concerns over ours. When things get difficult, perspective can be a powerful teacher.

11 Years ago, I interviewed for a sales job I didn’t get; I was crushed.

The guy who interviewed me is now serving a 14 year prison sentence.

The company I interviewed with was responsible for the largest public health crisis ever caused by a pharmaceutical company. Turns out, not getting what I wanted was a good thing.

I always think of this story when things don’t go my way. If I zoom out, I can remind myself that things have a way of working out.

This lesson is always easy to follow in hindsight, but reminding yourself of another time you overcame difficulty will help you maintain resilience and composure in tough times.

Take care of yourselves and feel what you have to feel right now. It will pass, it might pass like a kidney stone, but it will pass. If I can help, please email me.
