This Will be Going in a Future Book

Book news first:
Alas, I do not have a pre-order up for The Cowboy's Off Limits Option yet. I didn't make the progress goal I set for myself for making that happen.
However, Archer and Callie are making excellent progress-- they almost told each other they like each other the other day. (That's a lot of "others" in a sentence.) But they each have their reasons for holding back and we haven't quite come to the point of no return where everyone's secrets end up on the floor with their clothes.
It won't be much longer though-- because I am loving writing this book! It's been a lot of fun and setting it aside for things like sleep and showering has taken a lot of self discipline.
Coming Soon!
Actually, there has been woefully little showering:
I am not like Lucy Score (if you don't subscribe to her newsletter, you are missing a thing of beauty,) who claims that she forgets to get around to showering when she's pushing deadlines or just in the zone.
I really enjoy showering. I have that baby fine hair that looks like I combed shortening through it if I don't wash it every day. I get talked into these "come stay awhile" schemes the BFF hits me with because she bribes me with being able to shower daily. (hashtag: nomadauthorproblems)
This was the state of our only shower as of this afternoon. That's the shower at the back, with the ladder and all the Ace Hardware buckets stacked in it.
I'm assured "we" will have the floor and entire shower stall tiled this weekend. (And the toilet and sink re-installed.)
I'm not sure who this "we" is that she's always going on about-- as I have to finish writing a book!
So there you have it, the full status update: Almost done with the book, not at all done with the shower...really would like a shower.
You know the "DIY mountain cabin remodel" books are on the way, right?

My friend, Ren Booth, started a new mountain man series! Passion Peak is full of sexy, ex-military heroes claiming their happily ever afters with the curvy girl who steal their hearts.
(I absolutely am not either reading mountain man books when I'm supposed to be writing-- or showering. You can't prove anything!)
I'm just saying-- Mountain Man's Honey is adorable, swoony, and sexy. I mean-- that's what I heard. Because I am totally focused on writing my own books. Totally.
She's sunshine, and I'm the storm.
This mountain is my sanctuary, the only place I’ve found peace after the hell I went through during my last tour of duty. I'm content to live the rest of my days among my bees, only facing civilization when it's time to sell my honey at the local farmer's market. But then Melody Clark and her gorgeous curves crash into my world, challenging everything I thought I knew.
Seventeen years my junior, with an unquenchable spirit and a smile that lights up the dark corners of my heart, she’s the last person I should be drawn to.
But her resilience breaks through my walls, igniting something deep within me that I thought was lost forever. Now I can't stand the thought of my life without her in it.
Mountain Man's Honey is the first book in the Passion Peak Mountain Men series, which is a series of standalone sweet and steamy instalove novellas featuring hot mountain men and the curvy women they can't get enough of. A little OTT, no cheating and a HEA is always guaranteed! The men of Passion Peak won't keep you guessing on how the town got it's name!
