Okay, y'all-- now, I'm not some super popular, big time author that gets hundreds of emails from adoring fans every day. But it's reeeaaally unusual for me to not get any mail from readers for weeks.

My email provider (the @rocklynwrites.net people, not the Sendfox people) recently did some not-entirely-helpful updates and ever since, I haven't gotten a single email from an individual person.

Of course, all the emails from companies that I want to get go to the SPAM folder now and all the SPAM is in my inbox.

Doesn't it just figure?

So I am blatantly asking you to hit reply to this email and just tell me stuff. Whatever. Favorite color, dog vs cat, sleep in socks? (I have a friend who says socks are "foot jail,") or, you know, tell me something you love about my books-- just to soothe my tender ego after three weeks of not getting email I actually want.

If you don't hear back from me... or, if you've sent email in the last few weeks and haven't heard back from me... it's because I didn't get the email. (FTR: You can always email me at my alternate RocklynRyder@outlook.com addy.)

But let's talk about the work in progress-- right?

No, there's not a pre-order yet. I haven't committed to the release date yet-- because I'm a hot mess that hasn't been able to stick to a schedule since somewhere around Klamath Falls, Oregon-- right after Kept by the Lumberjack released.

Honestly? I was supposed to have Unreliable Witness done today. (Insert exasperated sigh.)

I will say, I'm having a ton of fun with Talon and Zona, but also with Talon and the team (he's the new guy,) and with getting to know a new mountain town... and I will have a fun sneak peak at the story soon!
