Too Tired to Write a Clever Email This Week

Like the subject says-- it has been a rough week. And by "week," I mean the last four days. It feels like those four days wee four months.

So this week's email is going to be short and boring and probably forgetting several things I'd planned on including.

Most importantly is this announcement of the Christmas in Hope Peak collaboration between 20 awesome authors-- one of which is ME!

My contribution is Christmas with his Fake Fiance and you can pre-order that now if you want.

It's scheduled to release on December 17 and will tie in with the new Rogue Ops series.

Speaking of Rogue Ops..

I can assure you that I am in no danger of writing an actual military romance series. So for everyone who was skeptical of an impending genre hop-- we can all relax. And, for everyone who was looking forward to one-- I'm sorry to disappoint you.

Don't get me wrong! Rogue Ops absolutely features a team of ex-military hotties who are working hard to bring down bad guys while navigating the whole falling in love thing!

It's just that... they're still in my world and in my head and that means they're stuck being my characters. So they are dealing with panicked Bigfoot sightings (or... something,) and nosy, small town characters who want to know what they're really doing in Paradise Point, and well-- this book sounds just like me.

Sorry/not sorry, I guess?

I'll be back next week with a much more enthusiastic email to let you know all about how the new series is shaping up and when to expect the first book. (I have a date on the calendar but, like I said, this week has been rough, so I'm not 100% positive I'm going to make my deadline.)

So...go check out the Hope Peak Christmas books! Pre-order a bunch of them. (They'll be in KU too.)

Look! A helicopter!

FWIW: this is not Harlan's helo. Harlan has a Boeing 234-- which is the civilian version of the CH-47 "Chinook." Which is a very expensive helicopter. Harlan is turning out to be an increasingly interesting character.
