Yes. I got off schedule, then I forgot last week, and tonight? I was totally not just snuggled up in bed with my creepy YouTube channels after a long day of trying to get more things crossed off the to-do list, thinking I was ready to call it a day.

Oops.

Let's just say-- it's been a busy week. (Checks calendar) Make that a busy week and three days.

I've moved on to southern New Mexico, down here in the boot heel near the Chiricahua mountains... where I may, or may not (whistles nonchalantly while not making eye contact) be planning to buy a piece of dirt where I can set up camp for longer than two weeks at a time. (Someplace to spend the winters.)

TOLD YA I had stuff brewing in the background that was keeping me distracted!

In between calls to landscaping companies for quotes on getting gravel brought in so the hobo house doesn't get stuck in the mud when it rains-- which it did just the other night, which is how I know I need some gravel-- and trying to figure out where my nearest grocery stores and gas stations are (you call that a grocery store?!) I've been hard at work doing author stuff too.

I am so excited about having a permanent campsite to visit whenever I want, but I'm also missing the bff back in Fallon and I'm looking forward to getting back so I can do some work on the trailer (is that leak in the roof finally getting fixed?) But I'll be especially glad to get all this life stuff out of the way so I can finally devote full attention back to the Rogue Ops series and stop making excuses for why the books aren't done yet.

The entire series is all up in here (taps head,) I just have to translate it into book form and get it typed out, which is the hard part for me.
