Five, people. Five.

That's how many replies I got to last week's grand inquiry into what I should write next.

So I'm here to report that I'm deep into the Rogue Ops books again.

I'm not mad.

It's going much easier this time around too, I probably needed the break to let the stories ferment in my brain.

It's not going so easy that I have enticing snippets to share yet, though. I had to take a break to swap solar panels on the roof of the camper. All by myself. Which I accomplished without injury to myself or any of the solar panels-- not the ones that came down or the new ones that went up.

I am also thrilled to report that I did not catch on fire at dawn this morning (yesterday morning, technically, by the time you read this;) as has long been a concern of mine.

In this case, specifically because the wiring between the new solar panels and the new house battery was all put back together in proper order and didn't cause a fire... in the past, I've worried about the spontaneous combustion at sunrise because my life long night owl nature has led many to suspect vampire DNA coursing through my veins.

Bit by bit, the hobo house is coming back into focus, and I'm so ready for it.

No pics this week, I haven't been anywhere or done anything except climb up and down the ladder and write.

Hey...there's a very good chance there won't be an email next week. I've got a big anniversary of a really crappy life event coming up in the next week and I honestly don't know how I'm going to be feeling about it. I might be hunky dory and life as usual, or I might be hiding under a table.

As time goes by, some years catch me off guard and some years, I don't even notice.

But if I'm MIA next week, I didn't fall off a ladder... probably... and I'll be back the following week.

Hopefully with updates on the book in progress.
