Your Sporadic Letter for December

Have I mentioned I'm in Washington DC? Probably. I probably told you all about spending 12 hours in the Harry Reid airport in Las Vegas waiting on my flight to get here. Didn't I?

That sounds like the kind of story I'd tell more than once. In real life, that is. When I get around to it, it'll be the kind of story I turn into a sexy tale with an HEA that'll be much more fun than the IRL version.

Keywords in that sentence: when I get around to it. Because I have my 2023 writing year already filled in on the planner that I will undoubtedly lose by the end of January.

And since my biggest adventure of late has been walking to Safeway-- holy empty pockets, guys! Can I just break away to go on a tangent here? For anyone who's based in this area of the world-- can we talk about the cost of groceries here?! (Faints dead at Safeway checkout line.) I thought my grocery bill was out of control when we went to Kodiak, Alaska last year, but my DC grocery totals have me hyperventilating.

No wonder urbanites do so much Doordashing! I think it's just as expensive to eat out in the city as it is to cook for yourself.

So-- since I'm still working on A Promising Beginning (which did, indeed get off to a promising beginning, but there's been a lot of unexpected plan changes for this already-easily-distracted author,) I thought I'd suggest picking up a quick read for the weekend...

Since the grocery shopping excursion has left me seeing the advantages of having a sugar daddy on a whole new level-- Dipping a Toe in Sugar is free for just a couple of days this week!

Most of you have read through this quick little series but here's a chance to own a copy of book 1, or recommend it to a friend.

FREE for a LIMITED TIME

Be honest with me-- are you mad that I don't have paperbacks?

And, BTW, "Limited Time" means December 8,9 & 10 only.

I'm not ready to put together a whole new year's resolution type newsletter yet, but I am excited about some of the things that are already on the calendar-- other than all the books I'll spend next year talking about working on.
