Hello Again!

It's been a crazy couple of months and no, I have not wrapped up the final happily ever after on Hunter and Carissa-- the couple currently struggling through their self-doubts, second-guesses, and what-abouts in the next Modern Match-Maker book.

Instead! I've been wearing my "bona fide indie author" tiara as I muddled my way through a couple of writer conferences-- totally overwhelming, btw. Too much information to absorb in too short a time and way too many people to interact with along the way.

Also way too many over prices cocktails and way too many days of getting up way too early in the morning.

Then there was way too much time spent in the airport so I could get to the other side of the country where I spent way too much time sleeping, adjusting to eastern standard time, and figure out how Washingtonians manage to get the groceries home without a car.

My friend told me I was going to fall in love with Washington DC and never come home to the west coast and I'm not saying she's right, but I have already picked out the neighborhood I want to live in.

But this stay is temporary, like my Alaska trip in 2021, I'm just keeping the bestie company while she's on a work assignment.

Match-Maker book #14, A Promising Beginning, will be getting wrapped up (pun intended) in time for Christmas and I'm excited for that-- plus it means getting started on the next thing on my writing to-do list and I've been looking forward to that for awhile now.
