It was 93 degrees here in Fallon the day I left Colorado: Coming back to weather that was still downright hot, I naturally thought nothing of spending entirely too much money on entirely too many $2 clearance plants and planting them in my little space for fall color.
I didn't exactly expect them to make it through the entire winter, but I did expect them to make it till mid-November when I move south for the winter.
Naturally, we had our first freeze a week later.
But this is not a story about Chrysanthemums! Or about unexpected freezing nights, or even about replacing my heater because after 5 years of hobo life, the old one apparently was done... No.
This week's story is about tea.
One large mug of very hot Earl Grey that was still steeping when it decided to make sweet sweet love to my Macbook Air at 11 p.m. on Sunday night while I was happily working on the WIP.
