This week's tip is on Critique Partners!
Critique partners are other writers who you exchange stories with and give each other feedback and suggestions. It's very similar to beta reading, but this is usually with writers, and you exchange work so you both benefit from it. It's a good idea to find a critique partner in the same genre as you. Some critique partners form official groups and meet/chat regularly. Others just check in with each other now and then. I have a critique partner who sends me several chapters of her WIP at a time, and I do the same, and we read it in chunks. Whatever works - but you should absolutely get someone else to look at your book. When you've worked on a project for so long, you stop seeing it clearly, and fresh eyes can give you an amazing perspective.
