Hello ,
Ducklings!
No, this is not a setup for a joke. A duckling really wandered into my workplace. I took a picture because though it's not a dog, I was VERY sure everyone wanted to see it. It made Monday more interesting that was for sure.
August:
Well it's been one hell of a month for me. I'm done with the second book (pending the edits my editor tells me to make) and it's about to go off to beta readers. Will they like Anna as much as they liked Tia? Only time will tell!
More Undercity is coming:
After sitting on my hands for a while (and telling myself i was actually writing the second book) I have finished the sample for the first book of the Undercity Heroes series: Origins. Yeah, I know, a hugely original title for a book about heroes and secret identities, but hey, I like it.
I'm formatting the sample now, and getting the preorder ready. In the next few days I'll be sending you all a link with the 8 chapter sample, look out for it! I'm about to set up the preorder for mid-October, which means.... this is getting real!
Now for " Of Stormlarks and Silence"
You might remember a couple of weeks ago I shared a prequel novella from a friend of mine. Her (very pretty) first book is out and currently 99c. If you enjoyed the prequel, or you enjoy fantasy, revenge plots and some enemies to lovers action, check out "Of Stormlarks and Silence."
Until next time!
- Ren, Author and rescuer of (not so) ugly ducklings.
