PACKED HOUSE AT JOE KENT TOWN HALL & REFORM CLARK COUNTY WORKSHOP
We had a great time with a mix of folks that came out to see Joe Kent, Brett Simpson, and Michelle Belkot and to attend the Reform Clark County workshop. We also had cake to celebrate the early departure of Julie Olson who has recently piled on against Joe Kent revealing, once again, that she is no republican nor has been one for quite some time.
Julie Olson Actually Spotted Out In Public
Many haven't seen Councilor Julie Olson in years. She's been hiding out on Zoom and dodging her constituents, but like a Bigfoot sighting, we have video of her out in daylight! I was getting ready to put her face on milk cartons because it's been so long since she's looked voters in the eye that I was worried about her whereabouts (I'm glad they put her name and title on the video because I've kinda forgotten what she looks like). Why did she come out of hiding? To support a Democrat of course. This is of no consequence though because she's been voting with Democrats, even though she claims to be a Republican, all along and actually voted to send the District 5 representative pick to the feet of Gov. Jay Inslee which she was promptly censured by the Clark County Republican Party. The (R) behind her name no longer stands for "Republican" but will soon stand for "Retired."
