WEDNESDAY DEADLINE: Election Training for Election Observers Is ONLY From NOW TO JUNE 15th!
Don't expect others to be involved so you don't have to. Get involved and become an Election Observer now. All you have to do is watch this video and email four secret words provided throughout the video and you'll become an election observer. This training closes on June 15th so you need to watch the training video that is just under an hour long. So, watch the video & then email them the four “secret” words and you’ll be set as an election observer.

DO REPUBLICANS BELIEVE IN THE IMPORTANCE OF TRANSPARENCY & MINIMAL GOVERNMENT ANYMORE?
Last Tuesday, the County Council unanimously passed $3.1 million for “retention bonus” giving 2k to all County employees w/o posting the staff report to the public for notice or comment. Yet, four of the Councilors are "Republicans" and have made a commitment to the Core Principles of "MINIMAL GOVERNMENT – Government’s powers should be minimal, clearly defined, and honestly interpreted" and a Party Platform of "We support openness and transparency in governmental and fiscal decision making, including third party audits to assure tax dollars are being spent appropriately" (See here for Republicans Core Beliefs).
We expect this from others that don't hold to the importance of transparency and a reduced government but why in the world would they support this nonsense... to be liked and have favor with staff & employees? Maybe. One explanation that I was told from a Councilor is that it'll save from having to train new employees. Hey, here's an idea... DEFUND the County government the same way they've defunded the police by making their job more difficult and not hiring replacements.
I asked the County Manager to explain her actions of withholding the report from the public and she hasn't replied back so far... shocker.
Representatives are there to represent the citizens & not to give bonuses to already well-paid & benefitted county employees.
Representatives are to restrain the government on our behalf but the elected representatives keep working harder for government staff and unelected bureaucrats than for ordinary citizens.
WE MUST ELECT NEW PEOPLE THAT WILL FIGHT AND DEFEND CITIZENS OVER BLOATED BUREAUCRACY!

This evening will allow the citizens of Clark County the opportunity to hear directly from each of the conservative candidates running for City or County Council, Sheriff, and Congress including Legislature. Each of these candidates want to earn our vote and represent our majority voice. As a 501c-3 Patriots United is not endorsing any candidates. This event is imperative to making an informed decision about who will do the best job representing We The People.
