The most common compliment I get is: Rae, you just have this... presence, I don't know how to describe it.

Someone I've only met once while travelling told me: Rae, you have this gift of being unforgettable.

Multiple times, I've met someone new while networking and they said to me: "Oh wait, so and so mentioned you before! Do you know this person?" And after much recalling, I realised it's someone I met briefly 3 years ago.

I decided to break down the phases of what creates an unforgettable brand, and a kind of magnetic aura that simply lights up the room in your own unique way.

PHASE 1:

Cultivating the habit of writing/ creating/ speaking/ networking with ease, joy and inspiration. 

Most people do things because they think they need to. You can tell. It feels forced, or there's this emptiness and lethargy in their eyes. This is literally the opposite of a magnetic aura. It brings a heavy and tiring energy.

The 3 most important values to succeed in life are: Integrity, Intuition and Courage.

• Integrity: Have the courage to be honest with yourself. Say what you mean and mean what you say.
• Intuition: Be in tune and aware of your body. This way you have the choice to make intelligent and authentic decisions. You take aligned action.
• Courage: The courage to change, shift, transition, unlearn and relearn. Not letting ego get in the way of growth.

So if you're in this phase, it is OK. Everyone goes through this phase. We are raised in a competitive and capitalistic culture -- we were taught since young that we have to do xyz to be good enough, of course we will force ourself to speak or do things a certain way.

Let me tell you that you don't need to do anything. Do it because you want to. The first phase in your journey towards embodying a magnetic aura is to actually like what you say and do. To practice being in the space of joy and inspiration.

Key skills to master:

• Accessing your state of inspiration 
• Reflecting + writing your thoughts into words (this will translate into how eloquent you are)
• Doing so consistently

PHASE 2:

Helping people see through your eyes. Consistently speaking about your values, life philosophies, and your vision of the world.

This way, you are subtly making the right people fall in love with your world. It's like seeing so many disneyland ads until you wanna book a ticket to go.

You're inviting your audience into your world -- sharing your lifestyle, goals, and dreams. You're building a deeper relationship with them by sharing vulnerably what your challenges are and how you respond to it.

We learn a lot about someone's character from the way they respond to tough times. Not only will your audience feel closer to you, they also respect you for your character and the philosophies in which you live life by.

Key skills to master:

• Elegantly weaving in your values, life philosophies and vision of the world
• In a sense, "teaching" them while still being relatable and without being preachy
• Reflection and inner work, so you can actually verbalise these higher level perspectives

PHASE 3:

Becoming iconic. Truly being one-of-a-kind. Incorporating powerful communication techniques.

Key skills to master:

• Masterful storytelling 
• Authority building content (identifying your key topics and sub-topics)
• Great perspectives/ thought processes (aha moments) 
• Expressing more of your personality (be iconic)

This just means you're able to captivate the right people in a shorter amount of time.

PHASE 4:

You have such a strong brand that people talk about you and grow your brand for you.

When you draw the right people into your world, your people will know you well and speak about you well. What they say about you will be an accurate representation of who you are.
