How have you been? Hope you're having a fab week so far.

I recently had an interesting conversation with my coachee who's recently graduated, it went something like this (pardon my singlish)

me: Looking back into your personal development journey thus far do you realise that actually its a never ending can of worms 👀

coachee: oh ya totally

me: When you start diving deeper and realise there's a lot more where that came from.

Once you see it, you can’t unsee it.

Choosing to Own My Voice hasn’t been easy. It’s truly much easier to live in blissful ignorance as opposed to being starkly aware of the potential and possibilities. Because ignorance is comfort. Possibility lies in the growth zone.

Growth comes a deep sense of fulfilment.

Yes, there are moments I just wanna give up on pursuing my big dreams and just chill. There are moments I wanna stick with the safe route and not speak up, let others take the lead.

But I know that it’ll simply give me the momentary relief, and for the rest of my life, regret, that I didn’t do what I wanted to do or say what I wanted to say.

I’ve learned to fall in love with the process of becoming - the joys and the pains and everything in between 🦋💫

And if you're subscribed to this email list and reading this, I believe you're someone who's dedicated to your growth. You're someone who has chosen to believe in yourself and commit to growing your voice.

And remember, growth does not have to be seen in tangible results or in metrics created by society.

Growth can (and often is) internal. It is the way you choose to respond in the toughest challenges. It is choosing to be vulnerable and reaching out for support when you need it. It is in recognising that you're human and allowing yourself to be a human BEING when hustle culture is pushing us to keep on DOING.

Growth can be messy... and most of the time we're constantly growing and evolving in all areas of life. How we grow in our personal relationships will reflect in our career growth. How we grow in our self-love journey will show up in the way we speak and contribute.

Growth can be messy, but you don't have to do it alone. Look around, there are people on similar journey as you. There are people who are looking for others on this journey too. And especially if you've been wanting to grow your voice, literally or metaphorically, I'm always here to help you Own Your Voice.
