Yep, it's a Holiday. โ๏ธ๐ ๐ค๐
Dec 20, 2025 4:35 pm
Greetings! Welcome to my latest newsletter, we're so glad you could join us...
A very happy holiday to you! Whatever it is you celebrate (or don't!), I do hope you're in good health and, at the very least, you make the most of your time off from work.
With New Year's swiftly approaching, typically we like to plan the goals we wish to accomplish (and often just never do them). Mine remain mostly the same as 2025's goals. Namely, it's just a LOT of learning.
- Learn to animate
- Learn to speak Japanese
- Learn to use a drawing tablet
- Learn more fighting games
- Learn to cook more Asian dishes
- Learn game design
- Learn to play an instrument
- Learn to use the Metric System (yes, really)
- Learn to read Celsius
Hoping I'll be able to get a lot of them started this year, now that my move to a new home, wedding, and honeymoon are all over and done (I did learn to use Celsius, so there's some progress! (๏ฟฃโฝ๏ฟฃ*)ใ)
~~
Before I start with the rest of the newsletter, I wish to introduce a new member of my ever-expanding family.

The pet store had an extra tadpole that was accidentally brought in with a shipment so my wife got it for free, and only just recently did it grow into a full-fledged frog. I didn't realize they transformed so fast!
It's still unnamed as of yet, but the little fella is insanely curious for a frog. I often catch it staring at me in the tank.
~ ๐จDECEMBER ART๐จ ~
Blazblue Chibis
I managed to finish drawing the entire cast of Blazblue Central Fiction, all 36 characters, as chibis! These guys are all available as stickers or charms at my storefront.
The Prince of All Saiyans!
Pokรฉmon Anniversary Art Collab Submissions
Some more art for the Pokรฉmon collab I'm participating in! Here's Annihilape, my 5th Fighting type submitted, and Arbok, Toxapex, and Drapion. Yep, now I'm doing Poison types. I've also arranged them all together below!
Oblivion (Dark Arts Apparel)
A new graphic for "Dark Arts Apparel", my imaginary apparel line. Hopefully I can get myself a heat press this year and start making these shirts already... just need to cough up $400! (small reminder I'm placing for unrelated reasons, my commissions are always open and my store has real neat stuff you can buy) ๐ต
Snek Thumb Sticker
A little doodle I got the idea for when I saw the meme on the right. Even drew it in MS Paint for the true aesthetic. I'll be throwing this into my shop as a goofy little sticker soon.
~ โ๏ธWORKS-IN-PROGRESS (WIPs)!โ๏ธ ~
TONS of WIPs this month! They're all rather large projects, so I'll probably not be finishing any of these by the start of January.
Bat-Woman
An idea I had hoped to draw for a villainess zine, but I was sadly turned away from. I was really fond of the concept of a vampire woman mid-transformation into a bat-creature, so I went ahead and did it on my own.
Would really like to add this to my apparel line!
Killer Instinct characters
Starting some more FGC fanart, this time diving into the Killer Instinct series. So far I've drawn Glacius and Gargos here.
~ ๐ฎPRIMO RECOMMENDS!๐ฝ๏ธ ~
I know you're tired of hearing the same old Christmas songs every single year (because who isn't at my age?), so let's expand your palette a bit, shall we? Remember, driving fast in the snow is not recommended!
All year, Studio Ghibli hosts an event called "Ghibli Fest" where they rerun their impressive catalog of animated films at theaters across the US, and this was how I was able to watch The Secret World of Arrietty for the first time. I can understand why it's not on the same level as the likes of Spirited Away nor Princess Mononoke (my personal favorite Ghibli film), as it's far less fantastical and eccentric, but it's still a lovely film. I almost like it because it's more down-to-earth (sort of).
